Pioneer Tech January Students of the Month

The Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) January Students of the Month are Colton Varner and Sierra Focke.  Representing Trade and Industry, Colton Varner is enrolled in the Construction Technology program.  Varner is a senior at Blackwell High School. After graduation Varner hopes to transfer to college and focus on a career in Construction Management.  “The best things about PTC are the people and teachers and the chance to learn about my career.  PTC taught me to never give up on my goals, because soon they will be a reality,” said Varner.  Sierra Focke was described as exemplary by her Business Information Technology Education instructor Dana Pulley.  “She is pleasant and always willing to help other students when I ask her,” added Pulley.  Focke also volunteers for First Christian Church’s Friendship Feast and has been on the honor roll all three of her semesters at Pioneer Tech.
