PONCA CITY, Okla. — The Friends of the Pioneer Woman Statue and Museum are excited to announce an evening celebrating the opportunity to provide educational programs and exhibits for the citizens of Ponca City. The public is invited to join the Friends for “Prairie to Palate,” a night of food and entertainment on Thursday, September 29, 2016. “Prairie to Palate” will be an outdoor, farm-to-table dining experience featuring a menu crafted by Chef Jeff Denton of TS Fork. This inaugural event will include live bluegrass music under the stars on the back lawn of the Pioneer Woman Museum. Tickets are $60 per person or $100 per couple. Sponsorships are also available. The Pioneer Woman Museum is located at 701 Monument Road in Ponca City and is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma. Founded in 1893 by members of the Territorial Press Association, the OHS maintains museums, historic sites and affiliates across the state.
