Ramey Opposes Incumbent Mayor Smith In Tonkawa Tuesday

Tonkawa voters will elect a new member of their city council Tuesday.

Incumbent ward two city councilman Ken Smith is being challenged by John Ramey. Ramey is a retired Tonkawa Fire Chief, and has served as city manager and city clerk.

Smith is serving as mayor.

In ward one, Glenn Cope was unopposed.

Polls are open Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Precinct 101 will vote at the Methodist Church family center, 105 N. 4th. Voters in Precinct 103 will cast their ballots at the Church of Christ, 300 N. Public.
