In all, seven Kay County school districts and three Osage County school districts will be involved.Potential candidates may file Declarations of Candidacy from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, December 5th through the 7th at the Kay and Osage County election boards.The Kay County election board is located in the Newkirk county courthouse. In Osage County, filing may be submitted at 630 Kihekah Avenue in Pawhuska.The Annual School Election is scheduled for February 14th. That date might not be the end of the elections, though.If no candidate receives more than 50 percent of the total votes cast in this election, the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes will meet in an election on Tuesday, April 4th.
