There’s a new city manager in Newkirk.
City commissioners appointed Jane Thomas as the new city manager Monday night.
Thomas took over as acting city manager in June, after the resignation of Jason Orr, who left to accept a similar position in Piedmont.
Thomas has served as the Newkirk City Clerk.
