The Tonkawa Alumni Association is now accepting nominations for their 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award.
The deadline for nominations is close of business May 1st. Qualifications and forms are available at the school’s website, or my calling Melinda Glasgow at 580-628-2987.
Two candidates will be honored at the annual banquet during the homecoming weekend of September 22nd-23rd.
The award was established in 2006 to recognize Tonkawa High School graduates whose contributions to society exemplify the standards of excellence promoted throughout their education at Tonkawa High School.
Candidates may be any former THS student, living or deceased, who meets the criteria and graduated at least 25 years ago.
