Train/Vehicle Collision Injures Perry man

A Perry man was hospitalized after a train/vehicle collision Saturday.

56 year old Ralph Nada was admitted to Stillwater Medical Center in stable condition with head and trunk external injuries.

The accident occurred just after 11:30 in the morning on county road 200 .1 miles north of county road Lariat  (2.1 miles north and 6 miles west of Morrison, OK) in Noble County.

Highway Patrol troopers say Nada was reaching down to pick up a dropped cell phone, and didn’t see a train coming. His vehicle hit the right front of the train engine.

The incident was investigated by Lieutenant Gabe Leach #167 of the Kay/Noble County detachment of Troop K.  Assisted by Lieutenant Gunkel #63 and Trooper Burrows #202.
